Who We Are
In August, 2004 a diverse group of volunteers from Connecticut
traveled to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and spent
a week among the Oglala Lakota Sioux, building bunkbeds for
children who had none. The experience was a life-time immersion
into the culture and spirituality of the Lakota people. Eight of those
volunteers shared a life altering experience -- one which they
promised to share through "education, information, and celebration."
